Poetry: Love Poem to Bill
As the sky and earth collide
In the fierce explosion of sunset,
As the storm-tossed seas rise
Swelling like my heart into my throat,
I can no more contain my feeling.
Were I the sun and would crash to Earth
To be left in darkness,
Were I the wave and would crash ashore
To be naught but seafoam,
Were these my last moments,
They could not be better spent
Than here in your arms,
Alive and in love.

My prince - these last seven months with you have been among the best of my life in some ways and the worst in others. You've been through four deaths and a lot of other crap with me. And for that I can never possibly thank you enough.
These last 192 days will always be precious to me for the rest of my life because you've been a part of them.
I love you. :-)
